Hi, I’m Bri, the owner of Root66neath.  I’ve been vegetarian for most of my life and I made the decision to become vegan in 2017 after taking part in Veganuary and gaining knowledge and awareness about animal welfare and the associated environmental issues.

I had been an endurance runner for a number of years and on becoming vegan noticed a dramatic improvement in my health and endurance accumulating in completing 5 ultra-marathons in 2018 – the longest being 100 miles in 24 hours.

I had always wanted to open and run my own food outlet, and after becoming vegan and noticing the lack of vegan choice in Neath I decided to take early retirement so I could open Neath’s first fully vegan eatery.
